In accordance with estonian standart EVS 932:2017, the design documentation has the following stages:
preliminary design – the first stage of the construction project, consisting of a graphic part and an explanatory note, containing the information required by legislative acts about the planned building in the amount necessary to obtain a building permit.
detailed design – is the second stage of the construction project, consisting of a graphic part and an explanatory note containing technical information and a description of the requirements for the quality of the building in a volume sufficient for compiling an estimate and organizing a construction tender.
construction working documents – the third stage of the construction project, consisting of an explanatory note and working drawings, containing technical information in a volume sufficient for construction work. It does not contain information on the organization of works and drawings of products.
